Make your own basil oil with this super easy recipe. Try it drizzled over your favourite pizza.

Basil Oil


  • large bunch of basil leaves
  • peeled clove of garlic
  • salt & pepper
  • extra-virgin olive oil


  • Put the basil leaves and garlic into a food processor with a good pinch of salt and pepper and with the motor running, slowly drizzle the olive oil through the funnel until you have a lovely green puree.
  • Pour into a jar, cover and store in the fridge.
