Taormina Mare – Sicily

Ruth Downing, Stoke on Trent “The photo I’d like to share is the lovely view we had of the bay in Taormina Mare from our hotel balcony. It is typically Sicilian and thanks to the beautiful weather the sea and sun beds look extremely inviting.”

Camogli Coast, Genoa

Sue Perry,Victoria, Australia “On our trip to Genoa we took the train to the charming little village of Camogli. A storm was brewing as the locals were packing up after the morning market. The sea crashed against the village walls and the sky grew darker and darker.”

Lemon Stand, Sirmione – Lake Garda

Barbara Barker, Nantwich “This was taken in June at Sirmione, Lake Garda, by the old castle bridge. We were told that the Italians cut the large lemons in half, cover them with sugar and have them for breakfast, similar to us having grapefruit. I would rather have my lemon in a Martini!”
