Giardino dell’Iris

“This is the beautiful Giardino dell’Iris at Piazzale Michelangelo in Florence. When we were in Italy in 2015, our tour guide (who lived in Florence) told us of the iris celebration each year during the first two weeks of May. After a week in Amsterdam, we flew to Rome and took a train to Florence just to see the blooms. The garden was amazing!”
