“My husband’s grandparents emigrated from Gubbio to Jessup, PA. Every year the town recreates the famous Festa dei Ceri. My husband and I were lucky enough to attend the original this year in Gubbio – the trip of a lifetime – and I took this picture of some young boys waiting for the festivities to begin. The yellow shirts are rooting for Sant’Ubaldo, the black for Sant’Antonio and the blue for San Giorgio.”
